Overhaul of sewerage networks and facilities on the territory of the Horodenka Multidisciplinary Intensive Care

The Problem: The hospital's sewage system, built in the 1980s using asbestos-cement and steel pipes, is now critically worn out. Frequent pipe bursts, infiltration of groundwater and rainwater pose a constant risk of emergencies. The existing pumping station is in a state of disrepair, with a high risk of leaks into the karst sinkhole — a potential ecological disaster.

Horodenka — a space for sustainable agricultural and tourism development in Western Ukraine. Location: Ivano-Frankivsk region, Western Ukraine. Safety: A stable and secure area, far from active combat — a reliable base for partnerships and investment. Population: 43,900 residents. Area: 617 km². Natural Potential: 60 km the picturesque Dniester River, canyons, meanders, gypsum caves, nature reserves. Community Vision: To become a model of sustainable agricultural and tourism transformation in post-war Ukraine.

Goal: To ensure a reliable, modern, and environmentally safe sewage system for the central hospital serving two communities by fully replacing the outdated wastewater infrastructure. The project ensures: Uninterrupted hospital operation; environmental protection and prevention of groundwater contamination, adaptation to climate and hydrogeological challenges.
