About Project

The project aims to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment for students and staff of a branch of Kolomyia Lyceum No. 9. It includes the reconstruction of the school building and the construction of a modern shelter that meets current safety standards. The project will improve learning conditions, enhance safety, and support uninterrupted education during emergencies.

About Community

Kolomyia Urban Territorial Community is one of the largest and most dynamic communities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, with a population of over 74,000 residents. The community includes the city of Kolomyia and 10 surrounding villages. Located at an important transport and economic crossroads, it serves as a significant hub of industry, culture, and education in the region. The community has over 20 general education institutions, 15 kindergartens, 7 extracurricular centers, and 3 hospitals. More than 100 heritage sites support active leisure and cultural life.

General Information

Land plot area: 0.6438 ha. Planned works: complete reconstruction of the existing school building; improvement of energy efficiency; ensuring barrier-free access for children with disabilities. Shelter installation: will ensure uninterrupted education during air raids; shelter capacity – 250 students and 51 staff members.
