About Project

The goal of the project is to ensure high-quality social and psychological rehabilitation of our defenders; ensure proper living conditions for persons who have lost their homes or whose homes have been damaged due to military actions; provide appropriate social services for individuals and families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.

About Community

Bohorodchany territorial community is located in the foothills of the Carpathians, 19 km southwest of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. The area is 257.26 km2. The community includes the settlement of Bohorodchany and 16 villages, with a total population of over 28.2 thousand people, 27% of whom live in mountainous areas. More than 3,400 internally displaced persons have arrived in the community. The development of the community is associated with gas extraction, construction and maintenance of trans-European gas pipelines. The social infrastructure includes 27 educational, 6 medical and 16 cultural institutions. Unique are the archaeological finds of Ice Age animals in oil and ozokerite deposits.

General Information

The implementation of the project will allow solving the important problem of social and psychological rehabilitation of soldiers. The center for social and psychological assistance with 70 beds will meet all modern requirements for safety, energy saving, accessibility and inclusiveness. The implementation of the project will allow combining socio-psychological rehabilitation with the unique natural monuments of the village of Starunya, a spiritual sanctuary - the Vacation Center of Blessed Simeon Lukach.
