POWER OF DREAM – veteran sports complex

The multifunctional sports complex "POWER OF DREAM" project provides for the construction of a universal sports hall for 3,000 spectators; an indoor swimming pool with 50-metre and 25-metre pools and stands for 1,000; a hotel complex; an indoor ice arena for 450 spectators; open fields and courts for various sports with covered stands; and a multi-module hall for cultural, business, and exhibition events.

Rivne Region is situated in the north-western part of Ukraine at the intersection of international highways and railways. The region borders Belarus on the north. Moderate continental climate with cold, snowy winters and warm summers. Rivne Region is among top three in terms of energy saving. Economic situation is stable. During the war around 80,000 IDPs found shelter here. Major cities: Rivne (regional capital), Varash, Dubno, Ostroh, Zdolbuniv, Korets.

Creation of the complex will accelerate veterans' socialization and the development of the sports sector and will promote inter-regional cooperation and cross-border collaboration. Sports rehabilitation is aimed at restoring the optimal physical, mental, and social levels of veterans and persons affected by hostilities, facilitating their socialization. In the future, international and national competitions may be held in basketball, volleyball, futsal, handball, badminton, Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, sumo, taekwondo, kickboxing, judo, boxing, karate, rhythmic gymnastics, and dance sport.
