Stage 1: Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson oblasts. Stage 2: Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts. Irrigation systems: Inhulets, Lower Dnister, Priazhivska and others. Water transfer capability between oblasts from three main rivers.

Southern oblasts of Ukraine require large-scale water supply infrastructure to prevent potential regional water crisis.

Result: 1.5 million hectares equipped with irrigation systems; food and water security for over 2.5 million people. Estimated Stage 1 cost: €3.5-4 billion.
