About Project

Construction of a 136 km strategic water pipeline to ensure sustainable freshwater supply. Built in just 6 months from audit to launch. Infrastructure is protected from shelling and can operate autonomously. Daily capacity: 120,000 m³ for residential use and 50,000 m³ for irrigation.

Mykolaiv Oblast is a strategically important region in southern Ukraine. During the war, the city of Mykolaiv lost access to centralized water supply due to infrastructure destruction.

General Information

State budget allocation: €173.5M. Actual execution cost: €125.6M. Savings of 27.6% (€47.9M) reallocated to new treatment facilities. First stage of water treatment operational since Jan 1, 2026. Full drinking water quality standards expected by March 2026.
