Mykolaiv Oblast is a strategically important region in southern Ukraine. During the war, the city of Mykolaiv lost access to centralized water supply due to infrastructure destruction.
General Information
State budget allocation: €173.5M. Actual execution cost: €125.6M. Savings of 27.6% (€47.9M) reallocated to new treatment facilities. First stage of water treatment operational since Jan 1, 2026. Full drinking water quality standards expected by March 2026.
