Overhaul of sewage pumping station No. 5 with replacement of equipment (Phase II)

The implementation of the project will provide an opportunity to: improve the ecological condition of the city; increase the efficiency and reliability of the pumping station by introducing energy-efficient pumping equipment, replacing valves and gate valves, and automating existing processes; reduce electricity consumption; improve working conditions for service personnel.

Dnipro City Territorial Community is one of the largest in Ukraine, located in the southeast of the country, close to frontline regions. Its center, the city of Dnipro, is an industrial metropolis with a population of about 1 million, playing a key role in supporting the rear, logistics, hosting internally displaced persons, and sustaining the country's economy. Dnipro is the capital of Ukraine's space technologies, a logistics and industrial leader in the Central-Eastern region. It is a hub for the country's core heavy industries—metallurgy, mechanical engineering, and chemicals. The community's budget ranks second in Ukraine. Around 600 IT companies operate in Dnipro, including major international players and startups, employing 20,000 IT specialists.

The design capacity of pumping station No. 5 is 330,000 m³/day. Built in 1979, pumping station No. 5 has never undergone major repairs or reconstruction. The structure and technological equipment are in an emergency condition and require complete replacement and modernization. The project consists of: major repairs to the pumping station building; replacement of pump units, gate valves, shut-off valves and technological pipelines; replacement of the technical water pumping station; replacement of the jet rupture tank; installation of control and automation systems for technological processes.
