Creating a Critically Important Construction Waste Recycling Service

The project is aimed at creating conditions for the effective processing of construction waste into secondary raw materials in order to meet the needs of the region that was destroyed as a result of hostilities.

The Huliaipole Urban-Territorial Community is located in the east of Zaporizhzhia region and unites the city of Huliaipole and 32 rural settlements. Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the community had over 22,961 residents, but as a consequence of the fighting, a significant part of the infrastructure was destroyed, and part of the population was forced to evacuate. Today, the community needs large-scale restoration, including the reconstruction of critical infrastructure, housing stock and economic facilities. Due to its strong production potential, the availability of labor resources and has all the prerequisites for recovery and sustainable development in the post-war period.

The community has significant damage to industrial infrastructure and public buildings after shelling and enemy attacks. The project plans to purchase a waste processing complex with a design capacity of up to 41,000 tons of construction waste. The depth of processing — up to 70% of materials are sent for reuse. The area of the complex's construction: 5 hectares. Number of permanent jobs: 27. Reduction of waste disposal by 30–40%.
