The Slavutych municipal community, with a population of over 20,000 and an area of 20.8 km², is located in northeastern Ukraine, on the left bank of the Dnieper River, 188 km from the city of Kyiv. The city was built in 1987 to house workers at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant who were evacuated after the world's largest man-made disaster. Today it is a city with a diversified economy: nuclear energy, light industry, construction, trade, services, production of medical equipment, stationery, etc. Slavutych is the embodiment of unique, environmentally sustainable, livable architecture.

The implementation of the project will enable: Improved energy efficiency of equipment, which will consume 30-50% less electricity. Significant savings in operating costs. Improved control and automation of water lifting, transportation, and distribution. Improved water quality – less damage, better filtration, etc. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Optimize processes for technological water losses. Improve the reliability of the city's water treatment facilities.
