About Community
Berdychiv City Territorial Community. The administrative centre - Berdychiv. The community covers an area of 81.9 km². The population - 74,500. An international motorway and an important class 2 railway junction pass through the city. The processing industry plays a major role in the community's industry (94.7%), including food and beverage production, textile production, machine building, and wood product manufacturing. There are 29 enterprises with foreign investments and over 3,600 individual entrepreneurs operating in the community. There are 16 general secondary education institutions, 14 pre-school education institutions, 3 extracurricular education institutions, 3 colleges and 2 vocational schools.

The implementation of the project will ensure: effective wastewater treatment in accordance with environmental standards; improvement of the sanitary and ecological state of the environment; reduction of risks of soil and groundwater contamination; rational management of sludge and waste; improvement of the reliability and energy efficiency of wastewater systems; creation of a modern laboratory base for continuous monitoring of treatment quality.
