About Project

It is planned to be implemented in three stages: Stage I – reconstruction of the second lift water pumping station. Stage II – construction of key engineering facilities. Work worth UAH 55.6 million has been completed. Stage III – construction of a technical building, possible after completion of Stage II.

About Community

Zhytomyr City Territorial Community. Administrative centre — Zhytomyr. Area of the community — 93.4 km². Population — 265,126. The community is located on the border of the Polissya and forest-steppe zones. Zhytomyr is an important transport hub on the III Pan-European Corridor. There are about 100 major industrial enterprises working in the city. The community has 83 educational institutions, 9 cultural institutions, 5 medical institutions, and 1 social protection institution.

General Information

The implementation of the project will ensure: improved drinking water quality for over 260,000 residents of Zhytomyr; uninterrupted operation of water supply and sanitation systems; energy efficiency and reduced operating costs thanks to modern equipment; improved environmental safety through the introduction of physical and chemical treatment technologies and local treatment facilities; optimisation of resource use through the reuse of wash water.
