Key Highlights: Terminal reconstruction with shelter infrastructure. Runway upgrade (separate project) to serve Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800 without restrictions. Capacity to handle both domestic and international flights. Target audience: 5 million residents in 200 km catchment area. Potential traffic: 1.4 million passengers a year. Financing: Public-Private Partnership (PPP) + international grants.
