About Project

The project responds to the growing demand for quality healthcare in Vinnytsia region through the comprehensive reconstruction of the Pirogov Regional Clinical Hospital to enhance the availability and quality of specialized medical services.

About Community

Vinnytsia region: 6 districts and 63 territorial communities. Area: 26,513 thousand km² (4.39% of Ukraine). Population: 1.509 million people. 61 family medicine centers (962 doctors), 33 hospitals of specialized care (3,478 doctors), 61 emergency care centers (196 doctors). Total bed capacity: 8,626 inpatient beds (including 791 rehabilitation beds). Pirogov Regional Clinical Hospital is the only multidisciplinary medical institution in the region that provides highly specialized routine and 24/7 emergency medical care to the adult population of the region in 56 narrow specialties. The facility has 730 inpatient beds. In 2024, the hospital treated more than 32,000 patients and operated on more than 17,000 patients.

General Information

Emergency department of the surgical building: creation of multifunctional diagnostic department (MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, Laboratory) for 31,535 service users. Center for Thermal Trauma and Plastic Surgery: 33-bed capacity, reconstruction includes ICU, thermal trauma patient rooms, heating station, utility rooms, and additional ventilation. The Center will meet modern standards and serve up to 750 burn patients per year. Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Center: outpatient department for 50-60 patients, inpatient department for 23 beds.
